Corporate Social Responsibility has always been an integral part of the vision of the KOPL and the cornerstone of our core value of Good Corporate Citizenship. We believe that CSR is an opportunity and a privilege for us and goes far beyond managing corporate image. The CSR Team at KOPL headed by KOPL management is always on the lookout to identify initiatives that contribute to social and economic upliftment of people.

Few recent initiatives:

1. Sponsoring Vehicle for Pulse polio camp at Jigani Area, Bangalore on 10th & 11th & 12th March-19. To improve the education systems in Govt:

2. Provided infrastructure (Building Toilets , computers and other amenities ).

3. Conducted green nurturing programs in nearby schools to create environmental awareness.

4. Yoga dress sponsorship to govt school children at Hassan Plant, Karnataka India (near 1.5 km) In Jan-19 for Kowshika Village Govt Primary school.

5. Water pump set sponsored to village (Near Manohar Pond Lake and Near Luna Village done in Nov 18) at Baroda.

Recurring Programmes: KOPL runs following programs as continued support to the cause of CSR.

1. Social Responsibilities: Sponsorship for Girl Child Education: KOPL periodically identifies needy and meritorious girl students from various parts of the state and provides financial support to their families. This ensures that these girl students who are at risk of dropping out of schools either due to financial constraints or social conservatism receive special sponsorship which takes care of education requirements. Recently the meritorious girl students of KOPL employees were rewarded for their exceptional results at high school ranks.

2. Social Responsibilities: Blood Donation & Dental Camps: We organise regular blood donation camps at our plant locations which receives overwhelming response from our employees. We also conduct medical and dental camps in and surrounding villages in Baroda.

3. Social Responsibilities: Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Cleanliness Drive: KOPL organises community services and participates in the vision of Swachh Bharat. Recently, our senior management and directors took to the road to set an example to promote and popularise cleanliness drive with the Senior Govt officials by sweeping clean a nearby wholesale market in Bangalore.
